After a long day, consider ordering takeout to avoid the tiring walk to the village. it allows you to relax more in your cozy, warm room.

A minor inconvenience was the 1.5-mile trip to find food felt long after a tiring day. the lack of faucet mixers in the bathroom meant dealing with extreme temperature changes while washing up.

Comfortable bed and warm, fresh room.
I was disturbed by thin walls. noise from the next room was bothersome. The blackout shutters failed to block out a distracting green light all night. the walk back from the village hall was treacherous due to complete darkness—it would have been wise to provide a torch!

Can just recommend for a short break
Comfortable room, warm atmosphere, with a generous kitchen that allowed us to prepare meals easily and a picnic area perfect for relaxing in the evening after a day of exploring the nearby trails, just 53 km from the nearest airport.
Can’t fault anything about it.

The breakfast was excellent, offering a delightful variety including fresh fruit and yogurt, making for a great start to the day.
The walk back from the village hall was a bit challenging due to lack of street lighting. bringing a torch would have been very helpful.

The room was spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable and warm environment for our stay. The bed was lovely, contributing to a good night's rest after our long days.
We were disappointed to find that we had to strip the bed before leaving, which felt taxing on our final day. the walls were quite thin, allowing for noise from neighboring rooms to be heard.

We had a lovely comfy bed and a lovely shower. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The £6 breakfast was delicious and included fruit, yoghurt, cereal, milk, and a bottle of orange juice. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby village.
The green light in the room was a little annoying.

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay in an accessible room that easily met our needs, and learning camera tricks from the owner helped us capture amazing memories. I loved spending time in the garden area and also enjoyed a relaxed evening by the BBQ facilities. The only small hiccup was some noisy guests returning late, which briefly interrupted our sleep. 😊
